Like several countries in the world, the Mexican authorities do not allow crowds in public places; all this as a preventive measure by the Federal Government to avoid more COVID-19 infections. In this sense, as long as the problem is not solved, it is impossible to carry out the festival in person, with film events in cinemas or theaters. For this reason, CIUDAD DE MEXICO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL has resolved to continue our film event online. The selected films will be screened only online between JULY 16 - 18, 2020 via the organizer’s homepage.
